Scope:
GENERAL
The cores covered by this standard are intended for use in the
construction of transformers and inductors, They are wound tape
cores bonded with a varnish or resin material and cut into sections
to facilitate assembly into pre-wound winding assemblies. The
surfaces of the cut sections are even and smooth and the parts are
maintained as matched parts such that any air gap as the result of
core re-assembly will be minimum.
