Members of ASTM International Committee F40 on Declarable Substances in Materials received free access to the Enhesa regulatory database that houses regulations related to declarable substances.

Enhesa is a global environmental, health and safety (EHS) consultancy that provides regulatory compliance assurance to industry worldwide, according to ASTM International.

The database that F40 members can access includes the following:

  • Current legislation searchable by country.
  • Enforcement information by country.
  • Future legislative proposals and white papers.
  • Links to government web sites.
  • Analysis of legislative impacts.

Formed in 2005, Committee F40 addresses issues related to the development of standards for the evaluation of materials and products relative to the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) legislation.
