NECA (National Electrical Contractor’s Association Used by code officials, engineers and other personnel involved in the design, build or maintenance of a construction project, the National Electrical Installation Standards (NEIS), developed by NECA in partnership with other industry organizations, are the first performance standards for electrical construction. They go beyond the basic safety requirements of the National Electrical Code to clearly define what is meant by installing products and systems in a "neat and workmanlike" manner.

CEA (CONSUMER ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATION) CEA develops standards and technical specifications that enable interoperability between new products hitting the market and existing devices. The CEA Publications Collection includes active standards, specifications, bulletins and draft documents. These documents cover product safety/compliance, audio systems, video systems, antennas, mobile electronics, home networks, cable compatibility and automatic data capture.
ECA (ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, ASSEMBLIES AND MATERIALS ASSOCIATION) ECA contains documents related to audio, automated component handling, cables, capacitors, components, connectors, inductors, resistors, sockets, soldering and switches.
EIA (ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES ALLIANCE) The EIA Collection includes active standards, standards, interpretations, guides, proposals, these documents cover component marking, color-coding and packaging materials.
GEIA (GOVERNMENT ELECTRONICS & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) GEIA represents the high-tech industry doing business with the government and includes information technology (IT) solutions as well as advanced electronics products and services for the defense and civil government markets.

National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Used by design engineers and inspectors of electrical equipment in manufacturing plants, design/construct firms, and Naval/Military construction/procurement facilities for the purposes of designing, selecting, procuring, inspecting, and maintaining electrical components and equipment throughout industry and government.
